An all stainless steel mesh based DSSC design is developed using a TiO2 coated mesh as the photoanode and a commercial ink coated mesh as the counter electrode. The device demonstrates much better flexibility than other kinds of flexible DSSCs. The mesh reveals unique advantages in realizing flexible energy conversion or storage devices.
