Modelling energy deposition in nanoscintillators to predict the efficiency of the X-ray-induced photodynamic effect

To evaluate the efficiency of the photodynamic effect induced by X-rays, we quantified the fraction of energy deposited in nanoscintillators after interactions with X or [gamma]-rays, introducing [small eta]nano as a new loss parameter.
