Tunneling holes in microparticles to facilitate the transport of lithium ions for high volumetric density batteries

We tried to address the low accessibility issue of microparticles, which have a higher desirable volumetric capacity (mA h cm-3) than that of nanoparticles, by tunneling holes in those microparticles, achieving dramatically improved results.
