Binary transition metal phosphide (CoxFe1-xP) nanocubes were prepared through a phosphidation process using metal-organic frameworks (MOF) as templates. The well-defined CoxFe1-xP nanocubes with strong electron-donating ability were used for high performance hydrogen evolution reaction.
