Triangular Ag-Pd alloy nanoprisms are generated by using Ag nanoprisms as templates through galvanic replacement and co-reduction of Ag+ /Pd2+ . These Ag-Pd nanoprisms exhibit superior electrocatalytic activity due to the alloyed Ag-Pd composition and dominant {111} facets.
