The novel high-performance humidity nanosensor based on LiCl-intercalated g-C3 N4 nanosheets is synthesized using a facile thermal polymerization method and spin-coating technique. By combining the advantages of the unique two-dimensional intercalated nanostructure and excellent hygroscopicity of Li ions, the nanosensor exhibits ultra-fast response ([similar]0.9 s) and recovery ([similar]1.4 s) time.
