A highly-efficient fast-response organic-inorganic hybrid self-powered UV (visible) photo-detector based on undoped (nitrogen doped) ZnO nanorods and Spiro-MeOTAD is reported. Nitrogen doping tunes the absorption deep in the visible region making it an efficient ambient white light detector.
