Growth of rutile TiO2 on the convex surface of nanocylinders: from nanoneedles to nanorods and their electrochemical properties

Hydrothermal growth of diverging rutile TiO2 nanoneedles/nanorods from a convex surface is investigated. With optimized TiO2 content as well as size and morphology tailoring, TiO2 -on-CNFs exhibit excellent cyclability and rate capacity.
