Zn2.94Ga1.96Ge2O10:Cr3+,Pr3+@TaOx@SiO2 nanoparticles were reported for persistent luminescence and X-ray computed tomography imaging, and they could be served as new potential nanoparticles to image the tumor with high SNR, low damage to tissue, and good spatial resolution.
