An urchin-like polypyrrole (U_PPy) nanoparticle was fabricated by using a dual-nozzle electrospray and following VDP steps and it was applied as a sensor for detecting hazardous chemicals with high sensitivity owing to its larger surface area than that of other nanoparticles.
