Star-shaped poly[(R,S)-3-hydroxybutyrate] with an [small alpha]-cyclodextrin core and adamantyl end-terminals self-assembles into nanovesicle through host-guest interaction with heptakis(2,6-di-O-methyl)-[small beta]-cyclodextrin. The nanovesicle is efficient for intracellular drug delivery.
