A novel strategy using PAA as a template for the preparation of Fe3 O4 @C@TiO2 yolk-shell structures with tunable interior void volume and shell thickness derived from heat treatment on Fe2 O3 @PAA@TiO2 core-shell structures is proposed. The obtained Fe3 O4 @C@TiO2 yolk-shell NCs exhibit excellent photodegradation efficiency for RhB.
