We create composites consisting of phase change nanoparticles in a polymer matrix. The melting temperature and enthalpy of fusion are stable through numerous melt-freeze cycles and can be tuned by varying the nanoparticle diameter and volume fraction; thereby opening up new design variables for phase change applications.
