Reduced graphene oxide-based hollow spheres (rGO-sp) have been constructed via a facile and straightforward assembly process. By directly immersing the assemblies in an electron rich sodium-ammonia solution, the graphene-based spherical assemblies with good restoration of [small pi]-conjugation are obtained. The electrocatalytic performances of rGO-sp exhibit excellent activity toward ORR.
