Ag-rGO composite materials were synthesized through a simple one-step approach. The size, distribution and shape of Ag nanoparticles can be tuned with controlled functionalities. This technique is not limited to only decorating Ag nanoparticles on GO. Other metals such as Au and Co can be selectively deposited using the same technique.
