Sub-10 nm Cu and CuZn nanoparticles have been prepared and the efficient catalysis of azide-alkyne 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition demonstrated, with triazoles synthesized quantitatively at room temperature using catalyst loadings of 0.03 mol% metal.
