A highly ordered cubic mesoporous silica (KIT-6)/graphene nanocomposite and 2D KIT-6 nanoflakes are synthesized using a non-ionic triblock copolymer (P123) as a structure-directing and crosslinking agent. The composite possesses a nanosheet morphology with a highly ordered mesoporous structure (Ia3d) and high surface area with a reasonable electrical conductivity.
