We developed gold nanodots (AuNDs) modified with 1-(10-mercaptodecyl)-5-methylpyrimidine-2,4-dione (TSH) and 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid (MUA) by using a one pot, two step ligand exchange reaction, and successfully applied the AuNDs for label free sulfide sensing.
